TermsofService

The terms that apply to this website and the basis on which Pentesys provides its services.

Last reviewed: 11 August 2026

About these terms

These terms govern your use of the pentesys.com website and the information published on it. Pentesys is a cybersecurity company providing penetration testing, continuous security testing and related services, with a registered office at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.

Paid engagements are governed by a separate signed proposal, statement of work, order form or master services agreement. Where those documents conflict with these terms, the signed engagement documents take precedence.

Use of this website

By using this website you agree that you will not:

  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in breach of applicable law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its infrastructure or any connected systems, other than through our responsible disclosure process.
  • Introduce malicious code, or attempt to disrupt or degrade the availability of the website.
  • Copy, republish or commercially exploit our content without written permission.

Information is not advice

Website content, including guidance in our knowledge base, is provided for general information only. It does not constitute professional, legal or regulatory advice, and should not be relied on as a substitute for an assessment of your own environment. Comparative and third-party information reflects publicly available sources at the time of writing and may change.

Services and engagements

Testing services are delivered only with the client's documented authorisation and within an agreed scope, timeframe and rules of engagement. Deliverables reflect the systems, credentials and environments available during the testing window, and do not guarantee that an environment is free of all vulnerabilities.

Fees, credits, deliverables, retesting entitlements and payment terms are set out in the applicable proposal or order form. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude UK VAT.

Confidentiality

Testing findings, reports and client evidence are treated as confidential and are shared only with the individuals nominated by the client, or where disclosure is required by law or by an accreditation body under its scheme rules.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and the Pentesys and Mirage brands, is owned by Pentesys or its licensors. Rights in engagement deliverables are as set out in the relevant engagement documents; our methodologies, tooling and platform remain our property.

Third-party links and marks

This website links to third-party websites and references third-party product names, accreditations and trademarks for identification purposes only. Pentesys is not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party websites, and references do not imply endorsement by either party unless stated.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change or withdraw content at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Liability in respect of paid services is governed by the limits set out in the applicable engagement documents.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the version published here is the current one. Questions about these terms can be sent to sales@pentesys.com.
